I think that the number one thing that you can teach in marketing and it’s something I teach to all my clients, is that marketing is everything.
It cannot be nailed down to one thing or a bunch of tips. It’s really difficult, it always evolves, it always changes and adapts to what’s going but it is everything in your business. From the way your business is designed to handle customers and what your selling, how it’s packaged, how it’s offered, how the work is done, how the product is shipped, how phones are answered, advertising, customer service, etc. It encompasses everything in your business. So that would be the number one thing that everyone should know about marketing. Because advertising methods will change, advertising mediums will change, people change, so marketing adapts as it goes. But understanding that marketing is everything you do in your business is the most important thing you can understand about it. Hope that helps,- JR
